Premios INARIA 2026: Inteligencia Artificial Responsable y Sostenible. La tecnología al servicio de la dignidad humana. Ética, innovación, transparencia e impacto social.

Conceptual framework

The Pope's manifesto (Magnifica Humanitas)

The Pope's manifesto is an ethical and social call. It holds that artificial intelligence must always serve human dignity, the common good, justice, solidarity and peace. It warns about the risks of concentrated technological power, dehumanization, exclusion, war and the loss of freedom, and proposes responsible AI governance.

INARIA Manifesto - Innovation for Humanity

The INARIA manifesto is a call to action and to innovation. Rather than focusing on warning about the risks of artificial intelligence, it seeks to mobilize people, companies, universities and governments to develop solutions that use AI as an engine of human progress. Its focus is on recognizing and accelerating innovations that improve quality of life, strengthen institutions, drive productive development and protect the planet.

An invitation to transform the future

We are living through an unprecedented period in history.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we produce, research, learn, work, manage organizations and design public policy. Its impact cuts across every sector of society and is redefining how we solve the most complex challenges of our time.

However, technology alone does not transform reality.

It is people, teams and organizations who, through responsible decisions and a vision for the future, turn innovation into a true engine of development.

With that conviction, the INARIA Awards – Innovation for Humanity were created: an initiative to recognize Argentine projects that use Artificial Intelligence to generate a positive, measurable and sustainable impact on people, organizations, institutions and the environment.

This call for entries is much more than an award.

It is an invitation to share experiences, give visibility to projects, strengthen the national innovation ecosystem and build a community committed to Artificial Intelligence that is responsible and oriented toward the common good.

Every project submitted contributes knowledge.

Every experience inspires new solutions.

Every innovation shared strengthens our country's future.

We invite you to be part of this first edition and to show that Artificial Intelligence reaches its greatest value when it is put at the service of society.

What are the INARIA Awards?

The INARIA Awards – Innovation for Humanity are the institutional recognition granted by the Argentine Institute of Artificial Intelligence (INARIA) to projects that demonstrate an innovative, responsible and positive-impact application of Artificial Intelligence.

Their purpose is not to single out the most sophisticated technology, but to recognize initiatives capable of producing real transformations through the intelligent use of this technology.

The Awards seek to identify experiences that can serve as a reference for other organizations, promote good practices and help strengthen the Argentine innovation ecosystem.

More than rewarding individual projects, this initiative seeks to build an innovation community committed to responsible technological development and the progress of society.

Our vision

We believe that Artificial Intelligence is an extraordinary opportunity to drive Argentina's scientific, technological, economic and social development. We also believe that all innovation must be guided by ethical principles, responsibility and a clear orientation toward collective well-being.

That is why the INARIA Awards recognize projects that show that technological innovation and a commitment to people can move forward together.

Our purpose

The aims of the INARIA Awards are to:

  • reconocer proyectos argentinos de excelencia que incorporen Inteligencia Artificial como componente central de su propuesta de valor;
  • promover el desarrollo de soluciones innovadoras con impacto positivo sobre la sociedad;
  • incentivar la adopción de prácticas responsables en el diseño, desarrollo e implementación de sistemas basados en Inteligencia Artificial;
  • visibilizar experiencias que puedan inspirar a otras organizaciones;
  • fortalecer la cooperación entre el sector público, el sector privado, el sistema científico-tecnológico y la sociedad civil;
  • consolidar una comunidad nacional de organizaciones comprometidas con la innovación responsable.

What do we mean by "Innovation for Humanity"?

Innovation takes on real meaning when it improves people's lives.

For INARIA, a project is an Innovation for Humanity when it uses Artificial Intelligence to solve a relevant problem, create value responsibly and deliver concrete benefits to society.

Neither the size of the organization nor the technological complexity of the solution matters.

What truly matters is that the project shows that Artificial Intelligence has been used to generate a positive, verifiable and sustainable impact.

The three pillars of the INARIA Awards

All projects will be analyzed across three complementary dimensions.

Innovation

We will evaluate the project's ability to develop original, useful and technically sound solutions to concrete problems. Innovation is not measured only by the adoption of new technologies, but by the ability to provide better answers to real needs.

Responsible Artificial Intelligence

The use of Artificial Intelligence must show responsibility criteria appropriate to the nature of the project.

Aspects considered will include: transparency; ethics; human oversight; data protection; security; responsible risk management; continuous improvement; quality of the information used.

There is no single model of Responsible AI. Each project will be evaluated in light of its context, scope and level of maturity.

Impact

The distinguishing element of the INARIA Awards is the impact generated.

The Awards will recognize projects able to demonstrate concrete benefits for people, organizations, institutions or the environment. Impact may be substantiated through indicators, results, implementations, studies, documentary evidence or any other verifiable record.

What kind of projects are we looking for?

We are looking for projects that use Artificial Intelligence to solve real problems.

We especially value initiatives that:

  • Se encuentren implementadas o, al menos, hayan alcanzado una etapa de validación o piloto;
  • Puedan demostrar resultados concretos;
  • Incorporen metodologías claras de trabajo;
  • Presenten información suficiente para comprender su funcionamiento;
  • Generen beneficios verificables;
  • Tengan potencial para inspirar nuevas iniciativas;
  • Puedan ser escalables o replicables en otros contextos.

We are not looking only for technology developments.

Management, applied research, public policy, institutional program, service, platform or organizational model projects may also be submitted, provided that Artificial Intelligence is an essential component of the solution.

What projects are we not looking for?

The INARIA Awards do not recognize ideas or intentions.

Therefore, the following will not be eligible for recognition:

  • Proyectos meramente conceptuales sin desarrollo;
  • Presentaciones comerciales;
  • Demostraciones sin validación;
  • Desarrollos donde la Inteligencia Artificial tenga un rol accesorio o irrelevante;
  • Iniciativas sin información suficiente para su evaluación;
  • Postulaciones que no aporten evidencias mínimas sobre el alcance del proyecto.

The quality of the information submitted is a fundamental aspect of the evaluation process.

We recommend completing the official form carefully and including all additional documentation that helps explain the project.

How does the evaluation process work?

Transparency is one of the fundamental principles of the INARIA Awards.

That is why the evaluation process has been designed to ensure objectivity, technical independence and confidentiality at every stage. Each project will be analyzed solely on its merits, the information submitted by the applicant and the evidence provided. Institutional track record, the size of the organization or the level of investment made are not advantages in the evaluation process.

The three evaluation dimensions:

All projects will be evaluated using a common model made up of three dimensions.

Innovation

We will analyze the originality of the solution, the technical quality of the project, its stage of development, its growth potential and its ability to solve a concrete problem.

Responsible Artificial Intelligence

We will evaluate how the Artificial Intelligence was designed, implemented and managed.

Aspects that may be considered include, among others:

  • Supervisión humana;
  • Transparencia;
  • Calidad de los datos;
  • Privacidad;

  • Gestión de riesgos;
  • Mejora continua.

Impact

We will analyze the real benefits produced by the project.

Impact may be demonstrated through indicators, results, implementation cases, documentary evidence, publications, studies or any other verifiable element.

Who evaluates the projects?

The INARIA Awards do not have a traditional judging panel.

Applications are analyzed through a technical and independent process made up of three complementary bodies.

Technical Secretariat

It is responsible for administering the call for entries.

Its duties include:

  • Verificar el cumplimiento de los requisitos formales;
  • Coordinar el proceso de evaluación;
  • Asistir a los postulantes;
  • Administrar la documentación;
  • Garantizar la confidencialidad del proceso.

The Technical Secretariat does not assign scores or determine the winning projects.

Evaluator Pool

Projects will be analyzed by an Evaluator Pool made up of specialists from the scientific, academic, technology, business and public management fields.

Each project will be assigned taking into account the evaluators' areas of expertise and the absence of conflicts of interest.

The evaluators will issue independent technical reports that will serve as the basis for the final decision.

INARIA Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is institutionally responsible for the Awards.

Based on the technical reports prepared during the evaluation process, it will formally approve the projects selected for recognition in each category.

The awards ceremony

The Awards will be presented at an in-person event organized by INARIA.

More than a formal ceremony, the event aims to become a meeting place for the Argentine Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.

The recognized projects will have the opportunity to briefly present their initiatives, share experiences, build connections with other players in the scientific, technological and productive system, and take part in an exchange aimed at strengthening the innovation community.

INARIA may invite national authorities, representatives of the science and technology system, universities, business chambers, civil society organizations and leading figures in innovation and Artificial Intelligence to attend the awards ceremony.

Confidentiality

We understand that many projects contain sensitive technical, strategic or commercial information.

That is why all documentation submitted will be treated in strict confidence and used solely for the purposes set out in this call for entries.

Applicants may identify any information that must remain confidential during the evaluation process.

INARIA will only disclose information whose publication has been authorized by those responsible for the project or that is necessary to announce the recognized projects.

How to prepare a successful application

The quality of the evaluation depends, to a large extent, on the quality of the information submitted.

The INARIA Awards do not reward whoever writes the best form, but the projects that manage to demonstrate the value of their proposal clearly and with evidence.

For that reason, we recommend taking the time needed to prepare the application and using this process as an opportunity to document, organize and communicate the work done.

A good application makes it possible to understand:

  • Qué problema dio origen al proyecto;
  • Por qué la Inteligencia Artificial fue la solución adecuada;
  • Cómo fue desarrollada e implementada;
  • Qué resultados produjo;
  • Qué impacto generó;
  • Cuáles fueron los principales aprendizajes.

The clearer and higher-quality the information submitted, the better the chances that the Evaluator Pool will correctly understand the scope of the project.

Recommendations for completing the form

Before you begin, we suggest reading the entire form and gathering the available documentation.

There is no need to prepare documents specifically for the call for entries if you already have information that explains the project.

What matters is submitting sufficient, organized and verifiable information.

When applying, try to:

  • Explicar el proyecto con un lenguaje claro;
  • Evitar respuestas excesivamente breves;
  • Fundamentar las afirmaciones realizadas;
  • Incorporar indicadores cuando existan;
  • Describir los resultados obtenidos;
  • Explicar el rol que cumple la Inteligencia Artificial;
  • Destacar los aspectos diferenciales del proyecto.

Remember that the evaluators are probably not familiar with your organization or the specific context of the initiative.

The application must be self-contained and make it possible to understand the project without the need for outside information.

Supporting documentation

In addition to the Official Form, applicants may attach any documentation that helps explain the project better.

Materials that may be submitted include, among others:

  • Informes técnicos;
  • Publicaciones;
  • Presentaciones institucionales;
  • Artículos científicos;
  • Indicadores;
  • Estudios de impacto;
  • Fotografías;
  • Material audiovisual;
  • Videos demostrativos;
  • Enlaces a plataformas;
  • Prototipos funcionales;
  • Demos del sistema;
  • Documentación metodológica;
  • Manuales;
  • Casos de implementación;
  • Certificaciones;
  • Reconocimientos obtenidos.

There is no predetermined limit on the type of supporting documentation.

We recommend including only information that adds value to the evaluation process.

The importance of evidence

One of the central aspects of the INARIA Awards is the assessment of impact.

That is why, whenever possible, we recommend supporting the application with objective evidence that backs up the reported results.

Evidence can take many formats.

For example:

  • Métricas de utilización;
  • Mejoras de productividad;
  • Reducción de tiempos;
  • Incremento de cobertura;
  • Disminución de errores;
  • Ahorro de recursos;
  • Satisfacción de usuarios;
  • Publicaciones científicas;
  • Evaluaciones independientes;
  • Casos de éxito;
  • Implementaciones efectivas.

Not all projects will be able to present the same level of evidence.

Each initiative will be evaluated in light of its stage of development and its context.

However, all verifiable information will help strengthen the evaluation.

How to submit the project

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official channels established by INARIA.

The process consists of four steps:

Step 1. Read the Call for Entries and the Regulations

Before starting the application, we recommend reading this Official Call for Entries and consulting the General Regulations of the INARIA Awards, available on the institutional website.

Step 2. Complete the Official Form

The form is the main evaluation document.

All answers must be complete, accurate and consistent.

Statements made must be supported, whenever possible, by verifiable information.

Step 3. Attach the supporting documentation

Any documentation that makes the project easier to understand may be included.

Additional attachments are not mandatory, although including them usually enriches the evaluation process significantly.

Step 4. Submit the application

Once the documentation is received, the Technical Secretariat will verify compliance with the formal requirements.

If necessary, it may request clarifications or additional documentation before the technical evaluation begins.
